Subscribe to our RSS feed CHICAGO, IL---January 28, 2008--- A partnership between Richter Studios and National Runaway Switchboard (NRS) has been established with the creation of a film presenting the NRS’s curriculum. The initial collaboration of the project featured Chicago celebrity Meteorologist Steve Baskerville from Channel 2 CBS. The entire production was shot in High-Definition at Richter Studios and at the Center on Halsted.

“We’re honored to have been chosen by National Runaway Switchboard to transfer a portion of their curriculum into the online realm,” Stated Co-Founder Jeremy Richter. “As we have learned through this initial collaboration, there are a lot of amazing people out there in the world tackling some very real domestic challenges. What the team at National Runaway are doing for at-risk youth is tremendous and we are very proud of the finished video.”

“From conception through production, the National Runaway Switchboard was impressed by the professionalism and creativity of the Richter Studios’ team,” stated Maureen Blaha, Executive Director. “NRS presented an idea to Richter Studios to visually present a module of our new Let’s Chat: Runaway Prevention Curriculum and they were able to turn our notion into a wonderful film.  Now, teachers, youth leaders and others concerned about runaway prevention can click onto the Runaway Reality module film at www.1800RUNAWAY.org.  Richter Studios is helping NRS keep America's runaway and at-risk youth safe and off the streets.”
